On April 2018 I bought a Napapijiri man hoodie in Alainabail website (http://www.alainabailey.com/) and I paid £35,66 plus £10 shipping fee. If you read on the website their terms and conditions, you think you are buying from a reliable local company but nothing can be further from the truth! When I checked my bank account I realised the transaction was made for a company based in China. I was charged in yuans and I had to pay 10 extra pounds for the conversion rate when in the website the price was shown in pounds! No need to say that when I saw that I realised I was scammed and I had to report the incidence to my bank and cancel my card.
A few days later, I received an e-mail from Amy White ([email protected]) confirming my tracking code. I googled her e-mail address and I realised that behind that name there is someone dealing with different websites like Kithdo (https://www. kithdo.com/) and Frowon (https//www.frowon.com/). After reading some comments from other scammed customers I realise this company always use the same strategy: they send to their customers a cheap product which has nothing to see with their original purchase. For instance, a woman received a pair of used trainers! When you try to claim your money back they don’t reply to your e-mails even the website states you have until 60 days to return your purchase.
After reading all these comments I wasn’t very optimistic about my purchase. Today I received my parcel, and I can confirm I was right. Instead of receiving a nice Napapijiri hoodie I received a small cheap woman shirt (see picture below).
Please, don’t buy any product from this company and if you have already done this cancel your cards as soon as possible!
