I'm a digital marketer and was trying to find affiliate program for Lycamobile UK. I went to Lycamobile website here: https://www.lycamobile.co.uk/en/refer-friend/ and Signed up for their affiliate program. Let me clear here that Lycamobile's affiliate program is managed by https://www.aklamio.com/. I had good quality traffic where I could promote their links and I started promoting that.
Lycamobile approves referrals after 2.5 months once they find the referred user is permanent in their network and still using their sim.
In 2.5 months I made 500+ referrals and made more than 2700 pound sterling in my Aklamio account. After reaching that 2.5 months period I emailed their support to approve my referrals as I couldn't see any approved referrals automatically in my account.
This is the email I got from them after sending thousands of visitors to lycamobile website:
Dear Aklamio user,
we noticed there is a high amount of rewards generated in your account.
We had to temporarily freeze your account to avert further damage to our partner. We would like to remind you of some of our Terms and Conditions, particularly ยง1.3:
"By accepting these Terms of Use, You commit to use the Aklamio Service only for purposes that are not related to commercial or self-employment activities. A commercial purpose exists when recommendations are made regularly and in larger volumes with the intention of earning a regular profit."
According to the terms we have to ask you for the following information and data:
- copy of the order and the payment document
- copy of your personal id as prove of identity
- please tell us, where do you post the links (website URL and screenshots)
- do you use aklamio in a professional and commercial way?
As soon as you provide us these information and after consultation with the advertisers, we can check if it is possible to reopen your account.

Lycamobile has clearly mentioned it an affiliate program and these terms don't make any sense to me and other people who got scammed.
After a bit of research I found these links, where 40%+ reviews about aklamio are negative and have 1 star ratings.

I've spent weeks to send them quality traffic that converted in their customers, after checking lycamobile reviews on internet I'm feeling both organisations are just scammers.
