My experience with this company was horrible! To start out with, it was okay, but it went downhill really far. I initially contracted the company to come out to my house to replace a water pump on my truck. They completed the job and talked me into obtaining an EGR kit because the current EGR cooler was cracked.
Keenan, the company owner, sold me on his custom AKH diesel EGR delete kit. He priced the work out for $1300. I thought it was a good idea and bought in. I gave him a $300 deposit on top of the initial work performed. He told me that he needed to take the truck to his shop to perform the work because he required using of his shop tools. It took him four days to finally come out with a trailer big enough to haul my truck back to his shop. Red flags, I should have cut this company off at that moment.
Then it all went downhill. Five days later of no call/texts back, he called me back to tell me that he was just installing a stock EGR cooler with welded caps.
I allowed him to continue with the understanding that I would not pay for the original estimate as that included the price of the parts. Five more days of no calls/texts answered I got ready to report the truck stolen. One of his employees called me to tell me that the truck was located at a hotel next to BWI.
I checked every parking lot of every hotel next to BWI and found his work truck/trailer parked at the Red Roof Inn. I contacted the police. As I was explaining the story to the police officer, Keenan pulled up with my truck. The police reclaimed possession of the vehicle, returned it to me and sent me on my way.
On the way back, I found an unsecured revolver tucked in between the driver and jump seat of the truck. I contacted police. They came and got the gun.
I had the Ford Dealership take a look over the truck the next morning. From the time I turned possession over to AKH diesel, they put over 800 miles on the truck. The vehicle was returned muddy, and the middle console armrest was broken. The police officer working the call informed me that he is living out of the Red Roof Inn, and neighboring tenants reported Keenan loading the truck up with rifles, orange jackets, and other hunting equipment.
I have contacted the Anne Arundel County States Attorney in regards to any illegal activity that may have occurred in my truck and pressing charges for leaving a loaded gun in my truck. Additionally, I have obtained a lawyer to represent me in a case against the company for the excessive miles and damage done to the truck.
STAY CLEAR OR THIS OUTFIT. They are literally a bunch of scammers living out of a hotel. STAY CLEAR.
