airG Reviews

I received a text message that I was being charged for a premium service with AirG. I looked up the company and found it to be a messaging and app company. I looked through my phone and I do not have any AirG apps (checked play store as well). I have contacted AirG in regards to this and immediately notified my carrier of this who promotly refunded me and blocked any further 3rd party charges. Filling this to record the incident and to warn any other users to make quick actions. The damage would have only been $5 but since sprint credited me I have no further damages. However I am concerned AirG will pursue more money in the future from me.

Received a text on 5/26/16 stating airG:Welcome to VIP! $5/mo. Call 8774654133 for help. Reply STOP to cancel. I replied STOP immediately as I did not authorize these charges. I immediately called the number provided and was told that I had agreed to terms and conditions (which I had not) but that they would reverse the charge. I also contacted Sprint to inform that I wanted them blocked and that I suspected it was a scam because I did not authorize the charge. Felt it was all resolved and today 5/27/16 received an identical text once again claiming that I had subscribed. Once again called the number provided and was given the run around and told for the second time that no supervisor was available to assist me. Also called sprint and was again told that 3rd parties were blocked from my number. I am concerned because in researching it seems that this is a VERY common situation between Sprint and AirG.

Charges from this company appeared on my cell phone bill. They charge me $2 once a week for each week, starting on 6/26 for use of their app airgvc199. I did not use or authorize. It showed up as a third party charge.

Had to go through three calls to Sprint which was of no help at all!!! Waiting for a credit.

ticked off

Just got my monthly bill from Telstra (Australia) and found two charges from Air G. I have never even heard of this company before let alone used their "services" or even have their app. Contacted them via a 1800 number and been assured that I am now unsubscribed, didn't subscribe in the first place. I've now placed an online block for any "premium" services on my phone and awaiting contact from Telstra re this months bill charges

This is a copy of my Sprint cell phone bill -- and what the charge looks like monthly from AirG USA Inc. I have called multiple times and have asked them to stop this charge, and it continues to show up, month after month. Sprint has no idea what it is for, and have told me that they cannot remove it from the bill.

This company appears to be a scam, and I want to be reimbursed the money that was paid to them, and I want to be assured that they will stop charging me each week. They provide no goods or services.

Exact same issue with Sprint

I contacted the company. I got there info and cancelled any further charges. I contacted Sprint and talked to them about a credit for my account. Sprint worked with AIRG today and are processing a refund that will likely take a month or so. Important info for the future - Tell Sprint to remove the ability for 3rd parties to collect on your monthly bill. This will never happen again with any 3rd party company trying to collect through my sprint bill.

Sprint

Sprint tried to say they weren't going to refund me because I must have approved it at some point. I sent that link (I was in a chat instead of calling) and said I'm obviously not the only one dealing with fraudulent charges. They refunded some (not all) and said it was blocked.

AirG put several unauthorized charges on my Sprint bill. I kept getting weekly charges from them and three different Sprint bills have been charged. I got Sprint to take the charges off the bill, but they said I would have to contact AirG to get them to unsubscribe me from their service. Sprint gave me their toll free number 1/877-465-4133.

I called them in Canada this evening at around 8:30pm Atlanta time, 5:30pm their time. I spoke to a girl named Sarah who asked me for my cellphone number and then told me it takes 24 hours to unsubscribe. I will update this report to let people know if I was successful in getting them to quit billing me. Sarah claimed that someone must have ordered the service. This makes me angry because I know that nobody in my family ordered it. None of us have need for a chat service. We have Instagram, Facebook, Kik, cellphones w/facetime, etc., etc. I insisted, vehemently, that we have all we need and nobody would ever authorize this.

Hopefully, I don't have to continue to deal with this problem anymore. It appears that others are having the same problem, so I wish them luck too!

Here's the kicker, the two bucks is added to my sprint bill, I have never received anything from the web site acknowledging my membership or how to sign in etc. I had to go to a sprint store to find out what it wad and then google the d**n thing. So far I do not understand who to speak to or what to do to end this and get my money back!!! What hacks!

AirG.com charged me 1.99 per week for a stupid social network service I did not knowingly or intentionally sign up for. They have been charging me through my sprint bill since of course I would never have given them credit card information . I had no idea what the hell it was until sprint told my wife after having gone in to inquire about emails from sprint describing some additional charges. Absolute horse manure!!

This company, AirG USA, Inc started charging my cell phone $1.99 each week, starting in July and in August for use of their application titled "airgvc199". Showed up on my monthly bill as a third party charge. Called my carrier, Sprint, who blocked further charges and gave me credit for 5 of the charges. I never joined their social network or had their app installed on my phone. If you have been a victim of this slamming please report it. If you are filing a rebuttal please state how you got my phone number or list websites you use to obtain information from a phone...since it is unpublished.

This company, AirG USA, Inc started charging my cell phone $1.99 each week, starting end of June for use of their application titled "airgvc199". Showed up on my monthly bill as a third party charge. Called my carrier, Sprint, who acknowleged the charge, but did not know what the application was about.

Sprint gave me credit for 5 of the charges and block further charges. Warning: Check your cell phone bills carefully; particularly third party charges!!!
