This deceptive property rented by MONTE STETTIN BEVERLY HILLS, was filled with deceptive pictures, price quotes and locations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They quoted me a price of $7,500 per NITE at their palm springs "compound", only to do a bait and switch to another property close to traffic, noice, and street thugs! They collected my entire deposit of $7,500 per night, and after my wife and I settled into this "flea bag" hell hole, we could not get a hold of anyone for any assistance.
Our credit card was already charged, and we NEVER heard back from the OWNERS OF THIS PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fallon Marie Decker is a charming lady who was responsive to requests while I was an airbnb traveler. Very nice and easy to contact. I was in town working on a week to week contract. I expected to stay several months, but stayed only one month. I gave her about two weeks notice when I knew I would be leaving Irving. I left the room I rented in better shape than it was when I moved in. I gave her $375 deposit, which was half of the agreed deposit. She was kind enough to allow me to break it into two payments. The deposit was because I brought a house cat. When I moved in, the bathroom was dirty. Her brother quickly cleaned the toilet while I waited. He also laundered the dirty sheets for me. He attempted unsuccessfully to install a bedroom door lock. Overall, he tried. The room was plain, but I saw it before moving in. No big deal. As a resident at her airbnb property, she was responsive to me and everything was ok. When I moved out, I left the floor lamp I purchased to use in the room, as well as extra light bulbs. I left the mattress cover and sheets I bought to use on the bed. I swept the floor, cleaned the surfaces, and cleaned the bathroom. Fallon Marie Decker has not returned my messages, nor made an attempt to reach me to return my deposit. I left the airbnb location on April 30, 2016.
I booked an Airbnb in Venice, CA for 6 days at around $900.
The photos on the site had a rooftop for visitors to use. I reconfirmed the accomodation the day before.
When I reconfirmed Zachary said that the rooftop was no longer available. I told him that was 90% of
the reason I booked it. When I arrived at the apt. I was told that if I saw anyone in the hallway I was to tell
them I was the host's (Zachary's) uncle. I said why would I do that? He did not answer however it became apparent that this was an illegal rental. I was supposed to stay August 15-21 then I cut my stay to 2 days August 15-17 and Airbnb told me I would be charged for 2 days. They charged me over $600 for 2 days. I left the same day of arrival and let Airbnb know about the fact that the place was filthy and that the loud rap music coming through the walls in the afternoon was unacceptable. Total misrepresentation. I had to find a hotel for 2 days while I found another place. I asked for my money back from Airbnb and they ended my "chat" session. I asked for the money back from Zachary and he laughed. I am still waiting for Airbnb to respond however it most likely will never happen. The host should be booted from the program for the disgusting accomodation and I should be fully refunded by Airbnb.
