For any small business online, we strongly advise not to accept any online purchase orders from Aimark, Inc. , a marketing agency based out of Orlando, Florida located at 121 S Orange Ave Suite 1250, Orlando, FL 32801, website: goaimark.com
I own a small business online (California Baskets Co.) www.californiabaskets.co
On December 23rd, We received an online order for 10 Wine Gift Baskets from AiMark's Human Resource Department at AiMark, Inc. totaling an estimated $3,000. The associate selected Ground Shipping, and demanded it arrives by New Year's Day.
Because Ground Shipping isn't guaranteed and is the slowest shipping method, we offered the customer a bulk order discount so that she can select Express Shipping (Overnight shipping option) so that her wine gift baskets could arrive on time, saving them $620*
We even spoke to the customer by phone in help of guidance of how to place a bulk order on our website.
Items shipped, but surprisingly on January 1st the chargeback was already filed, as if it was very calculated. We received a chargeback filing with the reason: "products not received".
As a result, AiMark's Human Resource manager received all 10 gift baskets, but still filed a chargeback. Despite providing Shopify bulletproof evidence that she received (and signed for all 10 orders confirming they arrived), the bank still ruled in their favor.
California Baskets Co. not only was stuck with -$3K, but we were forced to also stop our entire business because the debt set us back so far, we were unable to operate and function.
We'll not have to escalate this to the courts and involve lawyers and attorneys to help us get back on track. I cannot believe a business would do this to another small business! If you're an online website, please DO NOT accept online orders from this company! If anyone orders using American Express, I highly advise removing this payment option as well, as Amex favors consumers without caring about the evidence a small business sends to protect themselves.
