Do not go by what the sales rep tells you on the phone. Your contract will have a clause that precludes any conversations that you had with any company employee. I discussed at lenght with the sales rep that my house was 20 yrs old and had old AC units. I have two AC units and wanted both covered if they failed. The agent confirmed that both units would be covered up to $5000 each in the event of failure or breakdown. After signing the contract we had one unit die. The warranty company estimated the repair to be $1800. I said lets get it done. They said well we will only cover the first $1200 of the unit due to its age. I sent them the email conversation that I had with their current sales staff. Yup I had it in writing that she told me each unit would be covered up to $5000. Well it turns out the contract has a specific clause that says I will only go by the terms of the contract and not by anything that was said by any individule. So we got the unit covered for $1200. Then the second unit failed 6 months later. They said sorry you get an aggregate coverage. Which means the total amout they would warranty for all units 1 or 200 was $1200.
Look at the wording because each area they cover has an aggregate amount that you can access and you cannot use a conversation to get them to change.
Won't be buying or encouarging others to buy from this company again.
