Aguas Azules Watersports & Tours Costa Rica Parasailing Specialists Reviews
Agua Azules watersports business owned by Melanie and Miguel is one the market for the eye poping price of $595,000. I was interested and checked it out, but what I found is that these two worn out beach bums are trying to sell thier worn out parasailing business called Aguas Azules in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Agua Azules is also callled Costa Rica Parasailing.
We looked at Aguas Azules as serious buyers, but turned out to be a big waste of our time. At $100k it might be worth thinking about (no, not really), but for $100k you could start your own tour booking and parasailing business just like they have. Aguas Azules owns a couple of old and not ideal boats and some cheap equipment, which does not add up to much value, and is so easily replaced. Past that, from asking around, Aguas Azules seems to be hated by everyone on the beach where they have opperated illegal for years by trying to dominate a part of the public beach, so there is no "good will" included either.
Melanie is despised by even the people who have to do business with her. The Aguas Azules "beach office", where she opperates her parasailing and kayak rentals from, is opperating very illegally on Manuel Antonio beach and this is coming to an end, which is why we susect she is trying to rip off someone else by selling before it is closed down. There are multiple complains against the jet skis for hurting people and for the noise. And, employes complainsts too. Do not buy this company or you are buying years of baggage.
Aguas Azules has no real estate on the beach, and opperates ILLEGALLY, just by setting up and trying to hold on to her illlegal area, and with no bathrooms. Anyone could do what she and Miguel do, ANYONE! You can set up right next to her if you like, well... except that it is illegal. Aguas Azules pretends like they are this big tour company that offers every kind of tour and excursion, but really they have a small questionably safe parasailing and jet ski opperation that opperates ILLEGALLY on the beach, and the rest of thier "business" is just about shamelessly marking up the real cost of fishing trips and the other tours she pretends to offer, which are actually owned by the other opperators.
Traveling to Manuel Antonio and looking at Aguas Azules was a complete waste of time, and the realtors who are advertising it have got to know it is not worth ANYWHERE close to $595,000. For what? An illegal beach opperation by a couple of known crooks with some old boats and cheap gear? What a joke. How does a realtor offer that with a straight face? Says a LOT about the realtor, who I will not be doing business with as a result. Wish I had not wasted my time with Aguas Azules, and the real estate office that is promoting this BS "investment" for $595,000 should be ashamed! Crooks all the way around! Stay away from Aguas Azules in Manuel Antonio.
