For my recent move I hired Agility van lines because my landlord recommended them to me. I’m super glad that I took his advice because these guys did such a great job! The packing and moving was done with a lot of care. They protected my things very nicely and used many layers of protection like pillows, blankets, pads and cushions. No harm came to my belongings because of them! They are genuinely a good moving company. I highly recommend them to all.

Agility van lines was responsible for moving my in early March. They did an amazing job. The movers arrived on time. They were very friendly and efficient. The whole apartment was boxed very fast. These guys were such well-oiled machines. They delivered everything in good shape just after 2 days. This move could have so easily become a nightmare but these guys made it so easy. Hired to move from Connecticut to Ft Lauderdale Fl. 1000 cubic feet (elderly Couple) $4712.20. Picked up goods and assured that goods were in storage in Ft Lauderdale. Actually in a hub in New Jersey.
A death in the family forced customers to move back to Connecticut, never taking possession of their goods. Scheduled drop off on 12.11.2017 back to Connecticut. We called once a day to keep up with the schedule, and were told a new and different story daily...
Actual drop off date was 01.13.2018 ...only after ending up in the opposite side of the second smallest State? Connecticut !
We only found out that goods were in New Jersey after Shane slipped, and told us so! Sommer the all purpose secertary would lie to us every night.
Keep in mind the elderly couple had NO CLOTHES, furinture and house hold goods for over a month, only what they had in their suit cases!
The furniture and goods were only 150 miles away...paid an additional 350 in storage fees for a total of 5,000.00

After agility van lines moved all my belongings last month, I figured I really need to write them a review. The fact that I’m here pretty much proves that I was very pleased. These guys are amazing. I have hardly seen such hard workers before. All three movers were very creative with the packing process and very efficient at taking the pieces out of my house through a tricky front door. I wasn’t fully convinced of their efficiency till all my belongings were delivered in perfect condition. I got lucky with this company and I’m happily writing a recommendation for them.

Agility Van Lines (a moving company) job reference # R3191542 - Expected Move Date 6/23/17 During the whole month of May I was speaking with Alex who assured me that he would be my point of contact throughout the entire moving process, recommended I call him directly if I had any question, and that he'd take care of everything. Well, after I gave my down payment on May 27, 2017 Alex was never heard from again. When I contacted them and put his extension a new name appeared; Vinny, for whom I left multiple messages which were never returned. I finally got to speak with Somer who then became my new sales rep and had no idea what happen to Alex. Next time I spoke with someone it was the owner, Shane, who was confirming my pick up bill and immediately told me I was over my quoted price for 300cf of $1,518. I told him I had mayflower come to my home and measured all my belongings and informed me I was way under 300cf. I also explained to Shane that Alex & I itemized my belongings over the telephone prior to signing the contract and he assured me that I was under the 300cf. I also let Shane know my concerns with Alex no longer handling my case and that I had to find this out on my own. Shane replied "yes we tried to contact you but you never picked up", which is a lie, so I asked what about an email letting me know since we were also corresponding via email but he had nothing to say except that everything will be fine. Shane and I reviewed my entire inventory again and he assured me everything will be good in terms of the 300cf. Next time I spoke with Somer on 6/21/17, another call which I again had to initiate, to make sure the movers were coming and what time they would arrive, she could not give me an answer. She simply said "we will call you". That never happen. I called again all day on 6/22/17 and left multiple messages for Somer but no one returned my call. I ended up speaking with Tinka, I believe her name was, who told me the moving van would arrive 6/23/17 between 1:00 to 3:30pm and to expect a call 1 hour before they would arrive. I packed all my own thing which it states in contract to do (all customers are responsible to pack all boxes and fragile/breakable items) so everything would be ready for them. On 6/23/17 12:30pm I called the company again and asked what happen to the movers? Somer said "Oh they can't come today. No one called you?" I replied "No, that's why I'm calling you." Somer said "They will be there in the morning first stop." I asked her to "please be sure because I have to make it down to Florida for a job". Once the movers showed up, they immediately started pointing at furniture that wouldn't fit in the truck(couch, dresser, 4x2 study desk). So I suggested to load the boxes and see were we are with the available space. Boxes get loaded by two of them as the 3rd person starts questioning my mother-in-law about what my wife & I do for a living. After loading the boxes, the mover in charge said "I don't want you to leave your stuff so what's it worth to you". I told him "whatever cf it takes up which on contract states $4.22 per cf that's what I will pay." But he told me "That's a not how it works" and that my couch was a "bulky item" and it costs an additional $800 although we had included it in the original itemized estimate with Alex and Shane. I decided to leave the couch, the dresser and desk. When I was throwing out the dresser I come outside to find the movers loading my dresser into their truck for themselves, that wouldn't fit for me to take! Even after all that the guy told me its not in the contract but a tip is needed. I gave $140.00 only because I was afraid since I know they had to move my stuff from their truck into another for the long haul to Florida and didn't want them throwing my boxes around. When the truck arrived in FL on 6/29/17 the doors opened and I noticed they used my FRAGILE-labeled flatscreen TV to hold up the other boxes with straps across it! I suspect this was what ultimately broke my TV. A small wooden table was also broken in several places.
We called to get a price on moving from FL to Ky, my husband sent them the inventory sheet from another companies quote and they came in a couple hundred cheaper so we went with agility movers .They made us pay a deposit of 714.00 and then wanted 1/2 the day they load which is fine but when they got there they changed the amount from 3600 to 7200 when asked why they said you have glass table tops, this was all in thw inventory sheet they received. We canceled them and called the owner Austin and left multiple messages and he never returned our call. This company is very shady and they think they got our 714.00 deposit but I canceled and disputed this thru my credit card company. We have yet to hear from the owner. Beware. Bait and switch scam. They think they have you because you need to move and some people may go ahead and pay the huge hike in price but we sure didnt.

The men were all very immaculately dressed and professional in attitude. They started taking inventories, wrapping all her stuffs and carry them outside to load in their vans. The whole thing was running like clockwork. I haven’t seen such efficiency in a long time. Their quote was very reasonable as well. My daughter later informed me that all her stuffs traveled very well the long distance. I will definitely hire them again if need be.

And that they were supposed to be only Agility drivers and movers doing all moving and driveing.
When they came to deliver my things from Florida to Ohio they had a independant contractor. The moving truck that pulled up said * mile moving had 3 witness to this and whole block of people. I had to pay the other $1500 dollars before he would even open the truck.Wwll they proceded to unload The driver Named tony said he was not employed by Agility but a independent they use. Theey did not assemble one thing as they were supposed to. I then noticed that some of big pieces were missing like my king size bed and A pie safe and dry sink and golf cabinate.I called dispatcher named Shane then he said it was all missing. Then he called me back and said it was in their warehouse and would be delivered the following week.
The drivers then left. I then noticed as i was unpacking that many boxs were missing I called them back to notify them of missing cookware dishes ,glasses silverware meds. and some personal effects. He said they found them and would ship the next week with rest of stuff.
Well that has been since July 24 and I am still waiting. Every time I call i keep getting a different story no truck heading this wat twice theys said my stuff was on a truck not so I called today The lady Ellie said it could be weeks for this to get here!. I paid over $4000 for this in full! my stuff and bed I need . Julia East Palestine , Ohio I also paid some with credit card and bank check and cash!
