They closed my account and stole my goods after I complained about their shitty service. If you complain of their bad behavior they go and close your account without notice and keep your stuff. They practically robbed me.
Buyer beware of Aeropostale! At least in the Mishawaka store, no where was it posted that all sales are final, until you get your reciept, and it's circled.
No wonder they are closing stores, they know just how to run a scandalous and deceptive business. On the receipt it is circled that no returns or exchanges can be made at any store or online.
So if something doesn't fit, that's just too bad. Aeropostale is a business model destined to fail, and I wish them all the best at failing.
Aeropostale head office New Jersey, I recently returned from a trip to New York City where I purchased some items for my son at the Aeropostale store In Green acres mall Valley Stream New York. Unfortunately the items did not fit my son. I went to an Aeropostale store in Ontario. The Ontario store would not process a refund although I had the original receipt and the unused unworn still tagged items. The back of the receipt clearly states and I quote attention "international shoppers we cannot process the exchange or return via the mail all returns/exchanges must be made in person in one of our US or Canadian stores and must be accompanied by the original sales receipt". When I called head office and spoke to a customer service rep in New Jersey he adamantly refused to process any refund and said that one can not return items to Canada purchased in the states. I pointed out the back of the receipt which states as above but he refused to acknowledge and just said we don't do it.
I was shocked as I have returned Walmart goods from one country to the other and even received the exchange difference calculation with no issues. Aeropostale is now on our family and friends boycott list. This is not because they will not return an item it's because the receipt clearly states that you can and they won't! is this a scam? yes it is!
