After a interview near the office in Canton, MI. I was asked and provoded personal information for back ground check and such. They are very vague about the positions open but I am elad to believe they have some great positions. Ok, I will give it a chance.
I hear NOTHING from them. Yesterday last minute I am contacted by email to go to the Clinton Township location for an interview. I assume this is a second interview. I was very clear that with my experiance I am fully qualified to work on the network side and not be a cable tv installer. Not that I am against it, but I feel and know there is more for me.
I show up. It was one more cattle call.
However, I have no idea what I did but I made a lot of men very nervous. Very nervous. The man that interviewd me scurried to the back of the warehouse when he was done interviewing to bring back reinforcements. Then as the men hung out in the shadows he told me there were no positions open for me. He was sweating and to me, very, very nervous.
We exchanged plesantries. I left. I walked out the front door and did not look back.
My crime? I have no idea. I worked in education and can pass any background check. I have en extensve education in electrical and hvac. I have 180 great college credits to boot. God luck ACI/Aero Comunications. Good luck, I put this in Gods hands. Dan and Kevin, thanks for wasting my day and precious time with my family.
I worked for aci for almost 4 years and it was decent at 1st but then they would lie to com cast and say they had more employees then they actually had because comcast would give more work so the technicians were forced to work longer days for less and less money and the supervisors would get a bonus for the amount of jobs completed but technicians did not receive any kind of bonus. every month during the meetings they would lower another area of profit. True Story I actually had open heart surgery to which I was not aloud to work for 6 months and after the 1st 2 weeks they threatened me to come back to work or be fired to which I had to have lawyers involved. Now they "write you up" for blowing your nose because they know they have you by the "balls" because most technicians need there jobs I witnessed more safety hazards to where the supervisors would look the other way which put lives in jeopardy. The supervisors would play favoritism daily and treat everyone else like garbage. If you take anything from this post it would be NOT to work for these con artists
