Advised me to write a letter explaining the hardship this timeshare was causing. I did this and about a week later they told me to write the letter in my handwriting and mail it to them with tracking and by email. The email they provided me was invalid, I researched and found an email that was valid.
After calling my contact who by the way was very rude every time I had the privilege to talk with her several times she finally responded by email that I had not provide her with the tracking number for the above mentioned letter. I told her I did but I would send it to her the next day because it was at my office. She responded right back that she did get it. She told me to just wait it could take a few months to get any response.
Blue Green did call me they released us from all responsibility. Advocus did NOTHING to facilitate this. And for this I was charged $1,995.00.
Don't use this company: write a letter yourself send it to your timeshare company, they will probably let you out of your obligation. Save the, "lawyer" fee.
I experience just about the same spiel as you. Except Berkley wants to pursue collections. Advocus has disappeared and has done nothing. What was in your letter that worked?
