On sunday afternoon around 12:30 I called to have a locksmith come let me into my appartment because I had locked the keys inside. The lady on the phone quoted me $80. $50 to show $30 to unlock the nob and it would be about an hour for him to get there.
I called a couple other places however because I wanted to see if I could find one cheaper/ faster. I found one gentelman who would come right away for $100 but I decided to save the money and wait. over two hours of sitting outside in the cold later the locksmith finally shows up. He opens the door in like 10 seconds and lets me in.
I hand him my card to pay and when he handed the phone back it said $180 approved. I immediately called him out on it and he apologized saying he would call the office and have them refund the $100. The next day I had still heard nothing back and the money was still gone so I called to speak with a manager.
I was told no manager was in and theyed give me a call back. I now know this is just what they tell everyone who calls to get their money back and in reality they are just blowing you off. I've called 6 times all with the same answer.
No matter how insistent you are they refuse to connect you with anyone that will help. I now know this is how they make their money as I have found many reviews stating the same problem. These people are shameful theives and deserve to lose their business. I'm going to do everything I can to help that happen.
