We bought a customized product from Advandate, they said they will fix it within one month. More the 3 months after they should have delivered, we still not have a working product. We have asked for a refund several times, they say no. It happens sometimes, not often, that they answer on our complains. Three times they have given us a date when the product should be finished. Latest was several months ago...
Finally, we get a mail that everything was finished and they ask if they had missed anything. We write back the other day and ask how they could say that the work was finished when more than 80 % of the errors we had complained about still was there Of those errors about 10 where errors that had nothing to do with the customization but instead was in the "off-shell" product it was built on. We have never got any answer on that complain.
We also complained to our card company and asked for a refund as we had get a totally useless product.
The card company give Advandate a chance to response to our claims. Advandate start its response with, "On April 20th, 2018, Per Svensson with IP-address of xxxxxx purchased the dating software plus customization"
Despite of this, Advandate, on another site like this, where we also have complained about how the company work, answered on hour complaint 2018 11 19,
"Reply from Advandate Published 15 hours ago Yet another fake negative review. This is not a customer!" So, the company are not only scammers and thiefs, they are also liers and dumb as they not realice that we from several sources can prove that we are right. Stay far away from this company

AdvanDate is just another name of eMeeting which is a SCAM Bought the script 2 years ago - currently running v9.23 and still not stable - too slow and full of coding errors - The promise they make on their advertising pages are far from what you get. The main drawback is the inability for automated emails eg. notification to a member when a new member joins that math his/her match settings. When they started out the idea was good, but with all the bugs the are trying to fix they lag behind other companies with new integrations (facebook login, 3d etc. etc) You work day and night to modify and get everything up and running, trying to work around the bugs and shortcomings - and then WOW, after nearly a year a new version upgrade. First you must PAY for new version, and then start all over again.
If you complain about bad customer service or unstable script in the forums you get instantly banned - Yes they don't tolerate anything that might indicate their software is unstable at all. An open invitation to the AdvanDate team - PROVE ME WRONG - Remember? I still got all our conversations we had over the years - email and in the forums. The technical support provided by Rick Jacobson is terrible. They ignore your enquiries. Once you have purchased you become forgotten and unimportant. The user interface is clunky, slow, poorly laid out, dysfunctional, presents useless information, requires excessive mouse clicks and page refreshes. Unless you have a lifetime of upgrades, I think it's a complete waste of money.
The default templates are simply not at a professional standard and trying to modify them is difficult without good technical support, which they simply don't seem to offer. It looks like v 10.6 fixes the SPAM signup problems by implementing CAPTCHA. But really beyond that, the software is unimpressive. I would not recommend purchasing this software as it stands. If they could offer one professional level user template to a high standard ( using the latest web design methods, CSS3, HTML5 etc... ) that competes with the bug guns, they might have a chance of winning more votes. They have just under capitalised in this area, which really does let the whole product down. End user experience is everything and they don't seem to have worked that out yet.
Is AdvanDate even a real company? We bought their software and have had nothing but issues getting it installed. They keep trying to blame it on godaddy so that they can sell us to one of their hosting companies. Did you know that AdvanDate IS hosted on Godaddy!!!
They told me they were having trouble installing it for some reason, because they did not have the access. Again, rather than trying…just blaming it on godaddy. I read the AdvanDate installation instructions, changed the setting of one file (as noted in their instructions) and it worked fine. WHY DIDN”T THEY READ THEIR OWN INSTRUCTIONS?
So, it was working fine. Then I asked them to install mobile. And, it stopped working. They refuse to troubleshoot, and againg, tried to sell us on one of their hosting sites.
My question is. Is this a real company, or are they just trying to scam us out of money? Is anyone else on Godaddy that can help us? Why is THEIR software working fine on Godaddy. Are they just trying to get people to use their servers so they can make more money?
