In 2015 I bought their FlightDeck instrument system for my aircraft. It cost about 500 total for the two different modules, which monitor engine head and exhaust temperature, RPM and other variables.
In August of 2016, one module had failed, the other was good. Sent both modules to Stephan Wolf for repair, talked to him on the phone first.
After about 2 months without hearing from him, I called him back. He had not done anything. Waited a few more weeks, called again, and he said that one of the modules was defective and could not be repaired, since the supplier of certain chips did not make them anymore. He then said that he would look to see if there was any other replacement modules available.
Not hearing from him again by email or phone, called Wolfe January 2nd, 2017. He then explained that nothing could be done. I asked him to send me back both modules, the bad one and the other good one. I wanted them back in case I could get another good module from another party willing to sell one. Wolf said he would send them to me.
Not getting anything in the mail, called Wolfe on 1/31/17. He said that he had shipped the modules to me, or thought that he had, since he could not find the original box. I said that I did not receive anything and asked for tracking information or when he sent it. He nonchalantly said he does not keep records of shipments, and did not know when and how he shipped it.
Wolf said he could do nothing more, was "sorry". I expressed my disappointment with his awful customer service and his handling of my $500 worth of property.
I think he keep the good module to sell or give to another customer in need. He appropriated fraudulantly my property with a story that he "had shipped it", with no records, or course.
Besides the abyssal customer service, this man and his company has defrauded my and I will not be recommending them to anybody in my flying circle.
