This is a scam company. They began sending my company invoices just after one of our attorneys began advertising as a mediator in a few different publications. They are hoping to fly under the radar of a busy accounts payable department and get paid.
The company reporting this claim did not provide their company name and their claim is without merit. If their company received an 'invoice' it is because they have an account and simply assuming it was just sent to them because one of their attorneys 'began advertising as a mediator' is false. It sounds as though they are a law firm and would take more care before posting such claims.
If they contact the company directly instead of posting malicious claims on sites, they could get an answer to any questions they have about any account they may have. If they provided a name in their post, the company could contact them directly.
As with a lot of 'SCAM' sites, a few people post claims often with little to no research and often just based on a couple of other claims and then a company's good name can be destroyed. Hopefully posts similar criticism about their company that will be online forever. If A.D.N. finds out their company name, they will surely take appropriate action.
I keep getting an invoice from this compnay. I have tried emailing and faxing them mutiple times but I never get any response. They have been billing my compnay off and on for almost 3 years now. I recieved another invoice in the mail today with a past due stamp on it. There is not even a phone # on the inovoice to call, they want you to email them any issues.
The A.D.N. company provides a business advertising service. If you received an invoice, someone at your company signed up for a listing or at least A.D.N. has a record of someone signing up. The company DOES respond to all inquiries so it is possible the company didn't receive your inquiry. Sending a follow up email is encouraged.
Sending a letter to the company or replying via mail is always an option. If you aren't familiar with the account, the best practice is to cancel it so you stop receiving invoices. If you don't do anything, as with any account with any company, you will likely continue to receive invoices.
