Adept Reimbursement Services Reviews

  • Nov 23, 2017

I am a new student working to make a career in Medical Coding and Billing. I signed up with Adept Reinbursement Services in March of 2017. Below is a list of the payments and dates that were sent to Adept Reimbursement Services. non of these funds were forwarded to the AAPC as required (minus Adepts Fees)

On October 2, 2017 my account with the AAPC was cancled because AAPC did not recieve these funds. If it wasn't for the profesionalism and the generosity of AAPC I would be out this $3,818.64 ( minus Adepts fees). The AAPC has allowed me to start over in a new class for 2018.

March 27,2017 - 1,500.00

April 20, 2017 - 1,495.00

June 30, 2017 - 823.64

Total - $3,818.64

I am making this report regarding Nicole Woods and Adept Reimbursement Services to prevent others from this expierence. Please check with AAPC before joining Adept Reinbursement Services or any other "partner" school. If anything has changed and Nicole Woods of Adept Reimbursrement Services is back with the AAPC . Please let me know and I will update this complaint.

If you are a Clinic, Hospital, Medical Center or Independent provider and you need help with your billing and credentialing....

DO NOT GO TO ADEPT REIMBURSEMENT SERVICES!!!!

They will find you through Craigslist, Indeed LinkedIn, pretty much any job site that you post on and will offer you billing services. If you are looking for billers or coders and put an ad up for one, ADEPT REIMBURSEMENT SERVICES will probably email you back. They had a great sales pitch and I did not have the time to do these things myself so this seemed like a great option.

I tried, I look them up online but I found no reviews, nothing, I figured no news is good news but I didn't take into account that, a hospital, clinic or medical center is NEVER going to post a negative review...

THERE IS NO TIME FOR THAT KIND OF THING!

We are the perfect industry to scam and avoid detection. That's why I made it my priority to make sure that THIS company had an online record, so that other people in my position, people put in charge of helping a company grow, do not get taken in and swindled by

NICOLE WOODS AND HER BAND IF INTERNS, like I did.

I actually do feel bad for the people who become her interns, they think they are being given an amazing opportunity but they are just attaching their names and resumes to a company that has horrible business ethics and is fraudulent. if she doesn't treat her clients well and charges for services not rendered, she can't be treating her interns well.

In fact, I was working with an intern and she dropped off the map one day, never to be heard from again. I asked for our money back, once before the letter below was sent and Nicole, assured me it was a mistake and that she would personally take care of it... I had been asking her to call me and she never did, would only email and would never pick up the phone.

The only person that would pick up was a man named Kaufman, he hires the interns... Once then they started screening my number and letting me go to voice mail. She would then respond via email. This woman and her company are to stay away fro if you can avoid it...

Pay with a credit card so that you can report fraud when she fails to deliver and REPORT HER, IN FULL DETAIL, when and if she does it to you, not reporting her will only allow her to continue doing it to others.

After I sent the email below, she emailed back apologizing, stating her company has no bad reviews and she will refund our money and then a few days later sent an email telling me she had no money and now.... No word, so I kept my promise, I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and spare them the reviews but now I see that it was not a one off, this company is a scam. I am trying to contact Craigslist, LinkedIN and Indeed... EVERY ONE I CAN FIND and INTERN SITES, to warn them about her company as well.

Nicole Woods,

I AM REQUESTING A REFUND IN THE AMOUNT $1,950.00, PAID TO YOUR COMPANY

‘Adept Reimbursement Services’

9407 19TH STREET

ALTA LOMA, CA 91701

You have breached your contract with us by not filing our credentialing in a timely manner and by failing to keep in contact with us. You have not called us regarding any issues and concerns, ‘not one phone call’ You again failed to correct our accounts, after you agreed to personally work on our account and quickly fix the problems that accrued when you severed your relationship with your Intern, "L" and failed to check her caseload and make sure her accounts were completed and or corrected.

Though your company told us, we were credentialed for multiple companies, you were only able to secure ATA, a division of Aetna for us. The past month we have been collecting information from every company you claimed to have credentialed us with and verified that you did not complete the process. My in-house biller, "A" was asked, by me to go and finish up all credentialing for our company. I am totally shocked and disappointed in the service we received from ‘Adept Reimbursement Services’ My biller had to go and restart and finalize the process for Cigna and for that reason, we would like a refund for that insurance provider as well. In good faith, you should refund our whole fee of $2,350.00.

Your services were insufficient and you did not provide what you said you would provide, you, in fact, charged us for work that was not done, by telling us that it was in fact done and we were ready to go. After I complained and asked for a refund last time, you Nicole Woods, personally assured me you would handle all our accounts and get them done and you have not.

I do not know what happened behind the scene, but I tried to find information on ‘Adept Reimbursement Services’ online and could not find any bad reviews, so I will give your company the benefit of the doubt and assume this was a one-off. Therefore, you should refund our money as that would be, fair and good business. If you refuse to refund our money, if you fail to give us a refund by the end of the business week, I will assume you have no interest in good business practices and I will have no choice but to report ‘Adept Reimbursement Services’ to the BBB and all of the following review sites. I have no intentions of hurting a legitimate business, that just made a mistake but I will not allow an unethical business to operate and hurt other companies as our company was hurt. Without a refund, I cannot allow your company to operate with no online reviews that inform potential clients of your business practices.

My reviews will be legal and I have every right to file these, in order to warn and protect future victims of your company.

This is NOT a threat, this is a warning. We have given you a generous amount of time to fix these issues and you have failed to do so. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

A timely resolution of this issue will let me know that you are interested in resolving this issue amicably…
