Adel hired me and several other freelancers to do months of software related work under what i think is a small startup called TSC from Saudi Arabia, TSC contracted by a quasi-government agency. I suspect Adel he is one of the founders, along with the CEO but his official title is VP Marketing & Sales Senior Accounts Manager. He said we would work on a one year contract with monthly pay and subject to renewal every year. I was hired through a recommendation from my Saudi friend.
After working for a month and 3 weeks without pay, I stopped my work.
From the end of the first month til i quit, i wrote several emails to Adel copying his CEO and the project manager to which he wouldnt always reply. Whenever he did though, he would dismismissively he would demand for proof of work and make other irrelevant demands to delay the matter.
I would advise extreme caution when dealing with this individual and his employer, certain demand upfront payment if you do actually work with him or this company.
This was not a scam, as several freelancers and employees that I worked with are on the ground (some I've known over the years) can vouch for the project. They just had no intention to pay the freelancers because there is limited.
