Acura Financial Services Reviews

I bought my 2018 Acura RDX at Cerritos Acura in March 2019. Last week, The car battery died at one of my stops of the day (I have scheduled stops to make). I was lucky the stop is about 300 yards from an Autozone. I can't afford to miss my other stops and decided to replace the battery with near by Autozone ($30 tips for the guy who helped).

I called and was told to provide receipt and payment transaction. Going thru a process of asking for update, I got a call today from a manager named Steve (at Torrance location). He told me he would not reimburse me because I didn't take my car to the nearest dealer for a fix (replacement). I asked him how could I do that when the battery is dead. He told me to tow it. I explained to him that I have a situation and I can't miss my other stops. I thought of utilizing Uber too, but it's not a good idea to leave my car at that neighboorhood.

I am glad that I din't tow my car, else I may end up paying for the tow service as well. The Manager named Steve doesn't show any care at all. With a bit of struggling, he ended up slowing down and gave me the phone number which is 422-999-5183

I told him about customer sastifaction guaranty and he gave no d**n care. I'm done with Acura no matter what. I need to get my money back. I would highly appreciate your advice or guidance.

I HAVE BEEN AN ACURA CUSTOMER FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN PLEASED UNTIL NOW. RECENTLY, I SENT IN A LEASE PAYMENT IN WHICH MY BANK INDICATES ACURA RECEIVED IN A TIMELY FASHION. WHEN THE E-CHECK DID NOT CLEAR IN A FEW DAYS I IMMEDIATELY CALLED ACURA TO CONFIRM ACURA ACTUALLY RECEIVED THE CHECK.

UNFORTUNATLY, AFTER ALMOST THREE (3) HOURS ON THE PHONE, HEATHER AT ACURA FINANCIAL SERVICES REFUSED THE ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT MY PAYMENT WHILE AT THE SAME TIME REFUSING TO ADDRESS ANY POTENTIAL ADVERSE CREDIT REPORTING. HEATHER WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. HER VERSION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TO TALK OVER THE CUSTOMER AND THEN TERIMATE THE CALL. SHE MADE NO EFFORT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. VERY DISAPPOINTING. THIS SORT OF CONDUCT FALLS FAR SHORT OF THE CALIBER OF EXCELLENCE ACURA CUSTOMERS DEMAND.

So from the get go i should of seen it untill it was too late...first off the car sticker price was for 18k i bought secondly the car battery died on me the first week in. Not to mention jipped me at the end the tottal of the car came to almost 30k.....my 6 grand deposit.....was not all to deposit....theres these couple optional features i did not ask for and was taken out of my down payment without me realizing untill after i had someone review my contract....Thats not even the issue thats the most f***** up part.

So this incident changed my whole life...so first what happened was someone was making payment on my account and had their card info and everything in my account...i guess once me and that person was not cool anymore they called fraud on all 3 or 4 months of payment to my car.....sooo acura did not tell me about this change to MY account...and didnt bother to mention it to me for the whole month while the transaction was processing....but how did i find out about it??? well i get a txt from my roomates 2 days after christmas that my car is gone...from my house!!! so seeing ive never delt with any type of situation like this i did not know what to do after doing research online i figured my best option is to call the cops and of course they found or have my car, so i call the place that has my car, they tell me to contact acura and when i do i got the most appauling responses i have ever gotten. First off i had to ask why they took my car? because i the owner myself do not know and the lady on the phone tells me theyre not obligated to tell me my car has been reposesed, ok i get that but when someone called fraud on my account and withdrew 3 or 4 months worth of car payment making changes to MYYY acount and you guys blocked my access to my online account so i cant even see what is going on with my account. does that seem fair???? at all?!!!!

Then to top it off seeing its the hoilday season im trying to be nice and politely tell her i can paay the whole 3 or 4 months withdrawn out of my account or frauded right now!!! she tells me thats not how it works we want the whole 10k or you dont get ANYTHING! sooo im offering her $1400 to catch up my payments and she wants me to pull 10k out of my a*s literally!!!! i tell her clearly i dont have that.....and of course guess what i come home to no car, then the next day since i work at 4 am and no busses were running and was too last second to get a ride to work... i lost my job too...so now how do they expect me to pay for anything?! without a job, access to my account to see what actually happened, making changes on my account without notifying me, then ontop of that not just the payment but the buying process frauded out of my whole 6k down payment and 4 grand went to GOP fees and insurance i didint ask for and was told it was included.....somebody help me this is sickening....not to mention just so you know if you do own an acura if you make a bigger payment like i did thinking you would pay off the car ur wrong....so say i put 1000 down as a payment and say my payment was 350 a month......why did they take 500 for interest and 500 for principle and when i called them telling them something swrong with their system they say well you have to call us and let us know ahead of time that you want the whole remainder amount put to your principle.......like wtf acura is a scam and a set up weaving in and out....do not i repeat do not buy with acura or finance with acura financials

I purchased an Acura in 2011. I took a 72 month loan at $550 per month. I have less than 22 payments left. I recently became injured and had two surgeries in two months. I have been off work for three months. I am currently 70 days behind on my car payment. I contacted Acura to work out a plan to repay the past due. They woudl not work with me. I told them i would have a payment by the end of the month. I called back 10 days later and she would not accept the payment. I told her I spoke to someone 10 days ago and was told that my car is not up for repo. She would not accept the payment and told me the car was up for repo.

I have made 50 payments on this loan at $550 per month. I am down to 22 payments. Acura will not work with me and they want my car. They are very greedy. I would not suggest taking a loan with them.
