They are not honest and SCAM ARTIST with poor customer service. They will take your money and provide no solution! I called them for a diagnostic on my refrigerator that was not cooling. They came here did some testing and stated that my defrost control panel needed to be replaced for ~$300. However, the piece would take 3-5 days to come. Well, I could not go 3-5 days with no refrigeration. The tech informed me that the refrigerator should work for the next 24 hours and if it doesn’t, unplug the refrigerator and plug it back. Ok, I never felt the refrigerator work after the technician left so I called the next morning wondering whether the diagnosis was correct. That’s when I was insulted and screamed at by Zac. Then the tech Matt, who seemed so friendly at my home, got on the phone as well and said, "it was working when I left, did you unplug it!”..in a rude fashion and I said, well it never worked at all, so no, I didn’t do that yet, then he screamed...it worked. Passing the phone to zac, who said "take your business else where” and hung up the phone. I was just trying to gain clarification, and was treated horribly by this staff. I’ve been doing reading on defrosting in refrigerators and now realize the refrigerator may not need a $300 job but just may need to be unplugged for hours while it defrosts. Action Appliance would not be honest and straightforward about that. Port Charlotte has a large elderly community and I can’t imagine how this company must take advantage of them.

We called Action Appliances, Inc. in Aurora, Colorado on Saturday August 20th to come out and repair our LG washing machine. Marcel came out and told us that he needed to order a part, but we had to pay him 523.36 before he would order it and 100.00 upon completion of the job. Two days later he came out with the part and said he fixed it, I tried to run the machine and it had the same problem as before. I tried to catch Marcel and tell him it still didn't work, but he had left. I called again and Cody came out two days later stating we needed another part for 150.00. Action twice told me that the part would be ready in two days. This went on for two weeks. Marcel came back out on Friday September 9th with the part and said that he needed my help in removing a piece of metal from the drum. He asked me to hit the metal piece with a hammer while he held the drum in place. The piece did not budge.

Marcel then pounded the part while I held the drum in place. it didn't work. He told me that he needed to take the part back to his shop and would return the next day. He returned on Saturday September 10th and put the machine back together and said that we needed to order yet another part because I damaged the part. This is the part that HE INSTRUCTED ME to hit with a hammer. He told me it would cost another 200 - 300 dollars. He told me I was negligible for ruining the part. He could have been the one who damaged the part when he struck it with a hammer or back at the office. We refused to pay any more money, so he left. The machine does not work after paying over seven hundred fifty dollars in service and part fees. We could have purchased a new washing machine with the money we paid to Action Appliances... on sale at Loews for 650.00. I feel they should have suggested that the parts and labor would be more than the washer was worth at the onset. I feel that I have been taken advantage of and robbed. We have repeatedly called to complain about this situation to Action directly, but they say there is nothing they can do for us because we won't pay them any more money. The washer is completly disassembled and we ended up having to spend 775.00 on another washer after Action refused to make right on the situation.

I called Action appliance to come out and repair my refrigerator on Friday November 27th, 2015 because it was not holding temperature. The repairman came out was very quick and told me that my defrost unit failed and that he had to order a part. He needed half the money up front to order which was $324.35. On Wednesday December 2nd they called to tell me part was in and scheduled repair to be done on Saturday December 5th. I waited all day and called office 2 times to get an estimated time of arrival. first girl Renee told me around 2pm 2nd person Ann Marie told me around 5. He never showed up nor called to tell me he wasnt coming. I tried phoning the rest of that night and sunday no one answered their phones. I called Monday no one had any explanation for me. They told me the repairman would give me a call, he never did. I asked to speak to a manager their were non available. They told me for 2 days that they have the request in for manager to call. I never got a call. Being fed up i requested my money be refunded and i wanted nothing more to do with them . They told me they had a policy of 25% being deducted from my check to cancel. I argued that I was cancelling because of their negligience and they still insisted that was their policy. This company is a bunch of crooks and irresponsible, unprofessional low lifes and apparently have managers that could care less about their customers. I am hoping that someone else does not get burned by them.
