Was contacted by broker looking for properties in Mexico - wanted info on my property - presented a offer, so I said okay and they sent a contract to me, they said I had 5 days to review, I did some research on them and can't find a actual address where there office is - it doesn't exist., also the address on the contract they sent to me is different than the address on the web site - I have been in enough contracts to know that's a big deal and will render the contract as useless - also how to make a visit to them if you can't find thier office.
They wanted me to pay an $800 fee to either thier Escro account or directly to the Resort - then the client is supposed to desopsit a check in the escro company of thier choice (not sure if this company really exists) so after they escro company deposits money in my back account of certified check I have to pay the broker 6% of the total, not exactly sure how this scam works but have read similar things have happened to others where the check was fake and the so called client now has use of your vacation property -
This business says it has 20 years expierence - found it has filed as a corp in VA june of 2018
