I tried in good faith to attend meetings and sell product. I have witnessed questionable and dishonest practices such as reps giving illegal tax advice, they asked us to recruit people but not to disclose what the meeting was about. Trainings were misleading didn't actually show you how to sell at all. They were filled with questionable success stories, they pitched out of state seminars that cost us upwards of $150 to attend. I felt pressured to recruit family and friends. I was pressured to switch my cable, phone and Internet with ACN. Please avoid this company. They still have not refunded me my $499 initial fee.
ACN is a scam and their "top salesmen" Mike, Patrick and Andrew Maser are scam artists who will tell you any lie you'd like to hear to get you to sign up. But don't take my word for it - do the research - all three were in a prior "family businesss" together and convicted of dealing ecstasy and laundering the money through a sham business. Mom must be so proud: http://old.post-gazette.com/world/20020524ecstasy4.asp
"According to the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue Service, Stricker and the Maser brothers, along with a third brother, Andrew, of Altoona, and Armand Taormina of Norristown, Montgomery County, sent drug proceeds to the Netherlands and laundered some of the money through a sham business in Panama. The ring is also accused of using drug money for hotel rooms, airline tickets and credit card purchases.
In addition to the indictment, the U.S. attorney's office is seeking to seize at least $1 million in cash and bank accounts from the ring members."
