Company ACME TRADE INTERNATIONAL or jacobdrinks as they could sometimes call themselves pretended to be a supplier of used cooking oil and copper rods. We have visited them in person where we met two people called Ehab and Muhammad, while supposingly director of the company called Tony Jacob was on travels in India. After the visit they have asked us to pay them advance payments for both commodities, which we did. Afterwards the stories started coming up, beginning with so said car accident of the company director followed by his suddon death. The people we were meeting in Egypt kept claiming they were going to export the products we have paid for, but it has never happened. I was repeatedly asking them to send me a single document proving they were really exporting the containers, but all they could say was later. Shockingly we have got a draft bl from seagoline office, where they claimed the cargo would be exported and containers were in their possession. After they kept delaying the loading to vessels, seagoline eventually said they never had the cargo and it was only a mistake. It seems they got somebody in seagoline involved. At the end so said son of late Tony got back to me, saying also he would manage to export the products which he never did. I asked him for refund, which he said he sent, but it never arrived. Please be careful in case you get offered the similar products from Egypt from the people in the same area. They will very likely change their names, but the model can remain the same.
