They do not take no for an answer so I gave in told them to send me their tools I would try them out with the intent on sending them back if they weren't what they said . My 30-day window expired they would not take the tools back ( imagine that)so I decided I would pay half when they called begging for payment.. When they ran my credit card they ran it for the full amount so now I'm calling the bank in the morning to dispute the whole charge. For example, They say these blades are top of the line and retail for 29$ when in fact sears has them for 12. Same thing with all the tools they send out. Avoid this company for your own good
I purchased a very expensive set of drill bits and reverse drill bits and extractors from ace tools acouple of years ago and was told they were covered by an unlimited lifetime warranty. My salesman told me all I had to do was call them up and tell them what sizes I needed replaced and they would send them with free shipping no questions asked. This was the only reason I bought the set for $300 something.
The bits started breaking right away and were no where near as good as they claimed. After a year or so and over half the set being broken I send the company an email about getting them replaced even offered to send in the broken ones. I get a reply back wanting my account info so I replied and after a few days I get the response "since there has not been any recent activity on my account they are voiding the warranty. I was never told I had to keep buying things from them for them to stand behind the warranty. When I emailed them back I get no response.
Ace industrial supply is stealing from small companies nationwide! i was comtacted by a representative from above mentioned company. The rep. Said he was senting a sample drill bit set for me to try out. Additionally, he asked one thing of me - that when i recieve the package that i open it and use the product so that i see they are the best. When the package arrived at my place of business i noticed an invoice in the amount of $395.00 - no where in our telephone conversation was there any mention of me getting a bill! if all phone calls are recorded for "quality assurance" it would be evident that the rep said he was sending a "free sample." this company already has multiple complaints with consumer affairs and Outscam. Buyer beware!
