Accredited Debt Relief Reviews

  • May 29, 2017

Accredited Debt Relief is a wholesaler for Freedom Debt Relief in Phoenix AZ. You can verify this this by calling 1-800-655-6303 ask for wholesale. When your assessed for a loan, their are certain steps that need to be taken by law. Your employment needs to be verified some how, job title, length of employment, maybe a current pay check stub, something. You also have to sign off on allowing the lender or bank, credit union the ok to verify the loan application. When you get a credit card in the mail, even the pre-approved ones, you still have to verify the basic personal info. Fact is, Accredited Debt Relief never intends to give a loan, the brokers license they JUST obtained validates this. They have been around for 6 yrs or so. Not a single customer in the 4 1/2 years i worked there, did i, or anyone ever submit to any bank, lender or credit union a loan application.

This is how they present their product, debt settlement. The customer calls in under the impression, they are applying for a loan. The representative asks for some basic info, customers name, what state their from, the debt amount, how many credit cards, approximate monthly payments on all of the credit cards, the interest rates. The next step is tell the customer that there are 3 options of getting out of debt. Debt settlement, credit counseling & assessment for a loan. They will then break down each of the 3 options in detail. Tell the customer the basics of how a loan works, tell them non profit/consumer credit counseling is bad, it hurts your credit & the payments are high, then tell them about debt settlement. Then their told to be assessed for the loan, you'll need to pull their credit report, to put into underwriting to see what you're approved for, of the 3 options. This is put into CAP, which is Freedom Debt Reliefs underwriting program to evaluate the customer for debt settlement. The representative calls back 1 to 2 hrs later. They knock down 2 of the 3 options. Tell them they couldn't get a loan because of their credit score and debt to income ratio. They explain credit counseling has a high monthly payment and long yearly terms, also credit counseling puts a mark on your credit. Thats in correct as well. Yes there is a mark on your credit, however when you do credit counseling the mark is put on your credit by the banks. They tell them their approved for debt settlement. The debt settlement payment is usually about 30% to 50% cheaper then the customers regular monthly payment on their credit cards. Tell them the time frame is 24 to 48 months. Some creditors don't work with Freedom Debt Relief. The representative does not tell them its reported on the customers credit, as the credit cards are settled for less then the full balance. Thats stays reported on your credit for about 7 yrs that you paid less then what you owed. You cant assess for a loan if nothing is submitted to a lender or banking institution. If you're really assessing for a loan, then a denial letter should go out to the consumer by law. Its all a smoke screen to get the customer to sign up for Freedom Debt Reliefs program, again, there a wholesaler for Freedom Debt Relief, they prey on the uninformed. They also use Century Support Service in Pennsylvania. The company had some many complaints & law suits they had to change their name from Century Negotiations Inc. The customers are blindly trusting this company & as a result, their credit is being destroyed. Go to Yelp and look up the company. You'll see the owners & managers went on there and put in reviews like they are a customer. Be careful, do some research on this company and debt settlement. Look at other debt settlement places as well. Their are reputable ones out there that don't dance around to get you to sign up with their company. We all have Google take 60 seconds to do some research. its a scam, be careful...The owners went on Yelp put in fake reviews like they are a customer.
