My husband and I both purchased new LG smartphones Feb 3, 2017. There was a rebate on each one. I carefully filled out the online rebate forms and submitted. On Feb 16 I received an email for each phone stating the rebates were approved and to allow 10-12 weeks.
My husband's rebate arrived May 5 to our POB. When mine did not arrive by May 16, I started trying to contact ACB Incentives - it took several tries over 3 days. I was told that mine was rejected because I gave a POB. I asked why I was told it had been approved and why hadn't they contacted me (they obviously had my email address) to ask for a physical address. She told me they had emailed me on Feb 18, but there was no message in my inbox, trash, or spam filter from them on any date other than the 2 approval notices. She also told me it was too late to 'fix' this and that there was nothing she could do. It took 4 more days for me to reach the supervisor, who essentially told me the same thing. She was polite, but obviously uncaring and unhelpful.
I called LG customer service to report this, however they said the inventive program was through Verizon and not LG, so they could not do anything about it. I will continue to follow up on this.
I caution anyone about considering a rebate offer through ACB Incentives. And I urge companies to find another company to work through.
