I WAS CONFUSED WHEN HE STARTING TRYING TO UPSELL ME. I HADN'T ENCOUNTERS SCUMBAGS LIKE THIS IN A LONG TIME SO IT WAS WEIRD. THEN I CAUGHT ON WHAT HE WAS DOING. I CONFRONTED HIM ABOUT MY ITEM BEING LISTED AS "IN STOCK" AND THEM MORE LIES. MICHEAL HARTMAN SAYS: "OH, THAT'S A MISTAKE."
NO MICHEAL, THAT'S PART OF YOUR FRAUD. YOU ARE NOTORIOUS FOR THIS. HE WAS OBVIOUSLY FAMILIAR WITH BEING CALLED OUT AND VIRUTALLY INSTATNLY CANCELED MY ORDER BECAUSE HE OBVIOUSLY KNEW THE BEAT DOWN HE WAS ABOUT TO RECEIVE.

I ordered a brand new Nikon D850 camera BODY only from Abe's of Maine. Tried to take advantage of their internet "Halloween Special". They then told me that Halloween price was for the "Chinese version" only. So I took the other price. (Bait and Switch) No where was this stated in their online marketing. I have the screen shots and according to their facebook reviews, many others have experienced the same.
Instead of shipping me the new D850 body in a brand new un-opened box, they shipped an opened Nikon D850 camera & lens Kit, (FACTORY SEALS BROKEN on the box), in which they had removed the kit lens. Wrong Product Shipped.
-During sales process they asked a standard set of questions. 1) do you need an extra battery? I replied that my D800 batteries should work fine. He said they were not compatible {another lie I later discovered}. Not only was the battery issue a lie, but the battery included was a cheaply made aftermarket version of the Nikon battery with a value of about $50. -Next they offered me the new memory card format (XQD) but instead shipped a SDHC memory card.-The offered to throw in Starter Kit -LCD screen protector for the camera. These screen protector(s) were not for the Nikon D850 specifically {more misleading} instead they we cut to fit cheap protecters available for $3, a cleaning kit {I would never recommend this kit to ANY photographer of any level as it is NOT compatible with photographic equipment, and a table top tripod {more of a toy than a functional piece of gear}.-They sold me a travel charger Can buy on line for less than $25.-They included a High Speed Reader/Writer Card Reader $8 value.
The day I ordered, I REQUESTED AND ITEMIZED RECEIPT AND THEY HAVE YET TO PROVIDE ONE.
I have been trying to reach customer service fo a while. When Customer service did finally answer the phone, I asked for a return authorization #. They then transferred me to a VM announcing their hours of operation and followed by a hang up. They will not answer my call.
I made a detailed unboxing video of the shipped poduct, and glad I did, because I have proof.
