I worked for Abasys Technologies for three weeks. I was never clearly told if I was an independent contractor or an employee. At one time I was told I was an employee. I request theying to get me to do things which company send me a W-4 and I-9, which they never did.
I was asked to maek a certain number/tim of phone calls each week. I was given severl telemarketing lists that were either outdted, incomplete or inaccurate. It was not possible to correctly telemarket due to the bad data and lack of leads. I stated this several times to Kumar Mann. Each time i did so, he denied what I was saying, refused to look at the data or sit with me to learn what I was doing.
He continually pressured me to call my friends to try to sell them his services, pressure me to make more calls and would not listen to what I told him were significant problems with his process and the leads.
The last time we discussed this he again prressured me, said i had not made enough calls and refused to look at or listen to what documentation I had.
He was often angry and trying to get me to do things which seemed ineffective. TWhen I told him I expected to be paid for the work I did, he refused to do so.
He has not responded to my requests for payment. In an effort to accomodate him and the company, I am asking and expect payment of $304.95 which will resolve this matter.
