My story starts off with me getting a quote from AAA transporters of $650 to move the truck from Houston Texas to Los Angeles Four days go by and I get a call from Joe at AAA saying they can't find anyone at $650 it's not going to cost $ 875 because the truck is too big and take up two spaces for transport Now four more days go by any amount goes from $875 to an even $1000 And I was sure that he wouldn't happen again and this time I was given a name and a phone number of the transport I was going to pick up my vehicle and delivered to me I even got a delivery date 4 more days go by and on the day my truck was supposed to be delivered to me I find out from the auction yard that it hasn't moved and then I'm being billed $20 a day for storage fees so I immediately call Joe and find out what is happened Two days later Joe secretary calls from a New York phone Area code and tells me that the vehicle is non-operating in the driver couldn't get it on the truck So of course now they want to charge me $1400 to send vehicle out there and when should I track which again I OK but give me a different truckers name and phone number and schedule a delivery date 5 days go by this time and at 7 AM on the scheduled delivery date I get an email from AAA transporters asking why I've decided to go a different direction with a different company I immediately call the number which is now a New York number and talk to you and "Joe" with an African accent I asked him where my vehicle is that I ask him where the original Joe was at which he responded I will find out and get back to you which of course he never did and by the second phone call he started avoiding picking up my calls I know this because I immediately called their office with a different phone number and they picked right up I then emailed the original Joe call them on the three separate phone #s I have him under Three days later he has his secretary call me and apologize and tells me I Joel calling by the end today with a solution to my transport problem but par for the course he never calls Two days later I get a text saying that he's found transportation and he now needs $1800 because the truck takes up three spaces I tell him he's not going to get another penny out of me. And I don't hear from him for another four days when he text me that he's just not been able to find anyone that wants to carry the vehicle and that he needs more money so Joe solution to the problem that he created you to spend more of my money!?!? This is a company with a 97% approval rating and accredited by the Better Business Bureau? In comparison the next transportation company I hired had the vehicle at my door in four days for the original bid price
