Had a subscription with the meal delivery service that I stated I wanted to cancel on November 11. I was still charged to my card on November 27. I called the company and they apologized stating that the account is now canceled and that I would get a refund. I asked the company for a confirmation email to have this in writing but they never responded. I started a disputed through Discover (The card that was used for the service) on December 11 and it initially it was in my favor. But after checking on the status, Discover stated that the company stated to them that I was never told I would get a refund issued and that the charge was valid. I contacted Discover again this morning and they said that until I get more information from the company I could do nothing more. So, I messaged the company again and they simply opened the message and decided to not respond. After further investigation on my card statements it seems I have also been getting charged twice a month instead of once like I was told it would be. The charges have been made at the beginning of each month and then again towards the end. Each charge is $470. I started the subscription service on August 17th and was charged a total of 6 times including the initial start on August 17. August 17, September 4, September 25, October 16, November 6, and November 27 are each of the dates I was charged.
