A-Bee Honey Reviews

This is A SCAM! Now, I see that another individual got ripped off in August. I got ripped off in March, 2016. They charged my credit card $268 for a bee nuc and told me at the time of order OVER THE PHONE that delivery wouldn't be until at least the middle of May. Seemed reasonable at the time, however, now I know that banks typically will only go back 60 days to recover funds, so the Costanzas know what they are doing! After the middle of May, they kept promising "next week" for delivery in Arizona. By the first week in July, it hadn't happened. I emailed and asked that they provide a delivery date, or refund my money. I never heard from them again. My bank gave me a temporary credit, however, I had to argue with them today that I couldn't have filed a claim within 60 days of the charge, because I was originally told it would take longer than that to receive the bees. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Got together with some friends and talked them into buying bees and trying beekeeping. I have been a beekeeper for about three years. I have always bought bees in spring. Found nmhoney.com (aka, Ed Costanza, NM Honey, Costanza Orchards.) Communicated with his wife Louella via texting. (which I saved every text to back up this story). We ordered 5 Nuc hives on April 12th. We paid a total of $975 for them. We were promised delivery of the nucs within a few weeks as time would allow. A few weeks went by with no word. A few more weeks went by with no word so I contacted Louella. She said that it would be just a couple more weeks. Weeks turned to months. I even offered to pick up the bees or meet them in Mesa AZ where they winter the bees. Weeks turned to months. In June one of my friends who ordered 1 nuc hive and had a ferrel hive in his back yard was delivered a hive from these so called bee keepers. I asked why they brought a hive to my neighbor who lives a street away in the same town and did not bring our 5 nuc hives. Apparently they came becouse of the ferrel hive and also because they were costomers of the previous year! So if you have been a costomer in the past, they may bring your products but if you are a new costomer they may just take your money and not deliver anything. I kept in contact with Louella. Through out April, May, June, July and Aug. She would text me back until I asked for my money back in August. She stated that they don't give refunds. Well If you don't give refunds and you don't deliver items that are paid for than I guess that you are dealing with a fraudulent company. She has never text me back after her last text of no refund. $975 is alot of money.

This is a very suspicous and fradulent company and individuals. It has been so long now since I paid for the nucs I cant even get a refund from my bank. I am not sure how a company can steal from costomers and stay in business! I will do everything in my power to get the word out so nobody else looses this much money. Please do not do business with this company or these people. Even if you think you might get a product. Please obstain for me since myself and my friends are out $975. I dont know if they will reply to this or what excuse they might have but I have all payments and texts documented to back up this story.

I paid the Costanza's in full $220 for a 4-frame NUC beehive on April 3rd, 2016. I was told the NUC hive would be ready by June 6th. I had serveral coorispondances with the Costanza between April 3rd and June 24th claiming that my hive was progessing nicely and would be available for pickup soon. After June 24th, all requests for an update were ignored. I had a friend contact A-Bee Honey and he got a response stating 4-frame NUC beehives were available for sale so clearly the Costanza's are just ignoring me and have moved on to rippoff someone else.

I ordered honey bees from A-Bee Honey also known as Costanza Orchards in Edgewood, NM on December 29, 2014. I gave them a $100 deposit for the honey bees, which were supposed to be delivered the second week of April. I was told in mid April it was too cold and the bees were not producing queen bees for the new colonies. In mid June I was told the bees would be delivered the first week of July.

I have emailed Mr. Costanza three times asking for a refund or the honey bees I ordered. The first email was in mid July In the only email he respond to he stated:

"Hi Celeste,

I understand. This season did not work out as planned. It was very difficult with the weather and with people wanting to change delivery schedules to fit their needs. It would be best if we send you a refund.

We delivered over 500 units (packages, nucs and hives) of bees this last season and we will not do this again. In the future we will have pickup points for those who want bees.

Send me your mailing address that I can send a refund to.

Thanks,

Ed"

I received the above email response on September 3, 2015 and have not received a refund to date. I called their business number on October 2, 2015 and the message on their voice mail stated the mailbox was full and could not accept any more voicemails. They are not responding to my emails either. They have my money and I have not received the bees I paid for.
