I am not a disgruntled employee, me and erica were good friends for over 25 years, and i say this with great regret. I am not the only former employee/friend that feels this way. Over the years of working for her learned that she is the most incompetent person i've ever met, after trying for years to subtlely get her to do things differently, she turned on me to avoid taking any responsibility.
I was fired unlawfully, The owner of the property i was an onsite manager for knew what erica was doing and they kept me on and fired erica instead. I have filed a wage and retaliation complaint with the labor board. during the wage hearing erica lied under oath multiple times, the hearing was taped and the labor board is in possesion of that tape. I was still awarded part of my request despite her lies. I have sent a written complaint to the CA dept of real estate and am actively working with an attorney.
While i worked for her, a tenant was harassing me constantly for 2 years, despite multiple complaints erica would do nothing to stop it, the tenant in question physically assaulted the previous onsite manager AND the Owner of the property!!! The owner lived on site and told erica to evict this tenant multiple times and erica would not. Once erica was fired and we went to the eviction hearing for that tenant with the new property management company, erica actually showed up to the hearing WITH that tenant and her attorney, they lost of course but that was a serious breach of ethics on erica's part and she has been reported to the DRE. Erica was also previously investigated by the DRE for trust acct violations.
