Do not do business with them under any circumstance! yiftee collects the payment, then the retailer has to wait for the customer to activate the gift card, to then get paid on the 5th day of the following month.
What does that mean? suppose someone buys a gift card any day of December, but the person receiving the gift card decides not to activate the gift card until some time in January, we would only receive the payment for the gift card on the 5th day of February. you are essentially lending them money for free!! If the customer never activates the card, it's free money for them! That's absolute THEFT!
Any other Gift card system you get the money deposited into the account the very next business day! Somehow they are recommended by TSYS/CAYAN! it's unbelievable!
I manage a chain restaurant in North Carolina, with several locations all over the US. I recently received a gift card redemption on a scrap of paper with "Yiftee Local gifts, on the go" inscripted on it. As soon as I saw the gift card I was pretty sure it wasn't going to work. Our cards are not formatted with an expiration or CVC and they all start with the same 4 numbers. Sure enough the card was not activated any where on our system. The Yiftee company took $25 from a customer that they could not redeem in any of our stores.
