Went on-line to buy a ticket to see Robert Plant and Alisson Kruss. Ticket price said $257. I filled out all information in the purchase fields and just before I pressed the BUY TICKETS button, I double checked the price. Still $257. My card was billed $347.47. They say they are a secondary ticket agent and the price you pay is not the price on the ticket. EXTREMELY MISLEADING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO WHERE DOES IT SAY HOW MUCH OF AN INCREASE YOU'LL GET CHARGED. They were sure to point out the sentence "All ticket sales are final." The only way I can reverse this is to reverse the charge on my credit card.
Avoid these crooks at all costs. There are plenty of honest and transparent businesses you can use.
On 11/14/2023, I went to purchase presale Kenny Cheney tickets for a show at the MetLife on August 17th 2024.
I searched for Ticketmaster and I clicked it but I did not realize that ticketsales.com popped up instead. I searched for 8 tickets in section 140. Before I purchased the tickets I wanted to see how much
The fees would be. The site requested credit card info prior to seeing how much the fees would be so I entered my info. At no time thereafter did it say purchase tickets. I hit next to advance to the next screen. Instead of displaying the fee amount, to my horror it said that I had purchased 8 tickets and the total was $7,353.26. It still did not give me any breakdown of how they arrived at that total, though the ticket fees did exceed $4000!!
I immediately phoned the website, ticketsales.com and the woman on the phone informed me that there was nothing that I could do, even though the event was nine months away. She said the tickets were a final sale. I asked for a manager and I asked to speak to someone else. She said no.
I then hung up and phoned American Express and they told me they would begin a dispute process so I waited for then to handle it. Unfortunately they could not resolve my issue because the payment was processed immediately. I called ticketsales.com a second time and they were very resistant. I feel their practices are very deceptive and I would like to be fully refunded. If they feel their business practices are fair, they would display their prices and give people the option to see them before requiring credit card information be entered.
When purchasing tickets, make a mistake and there was no way to make corrections, cancel or get a refund. No dispute options. Paid $729 for two tickets including a $120 service charge. The site is poorly constructed, causing errors. No cancelation or refund policy. Overcharged tickets and excessive service fees.
The Netter business has over 500 complaints. Why are they allowed to continue?
Purchased Elton John at Paycom Arena tickets for January 30, 2022 at 8pm central time. Showed up to the venue and were denied, after scanning several times at several different gates, 8-10 times, we were told our tickets were invalid. We were sent to the ticket box office/cashier, who told us our names were not even in their system, and our tickets were invalid/fake. They told us we had to call the vendor, ticketsales.com, directly.
The show had started at 8pm; there was no cover band, and so we missed over half the show being on hold with ticketsales.com. A great way to spend a birthday gift. Ticketsales.com, 45 minutes later, finally told us they'd give us new seats, which were far worse than the seats we originally paid for. We paid $538.98 for the tickets.
We were told we would be contacted within 24-48 hours by Management about compensation. This never happened. I have called multiple times and have been hung up on before finally reaching someone. We were asked to fill out a form to try and get a refund. We just want our money back. We paid for good tickets and missed half the show, which was also Elton John's last tour and a birthday gift, so everything was ruined by ticketsales.com.
They never explained why the tickets they sold us were invalid, they simply sent us new ones after 45 minutes of waiting on hold. Their customer service is just as horrific as the experience we had. We want a refund immediately. We should not even have to fill out a form for this!!
They won't give me my money back for a cancelled event the are trying to say that because I filed a dispute with my credit card company they cannot issue a refund. So punish me for trying to get my money back... seriously? They are the worst ever... no issues with Ticketmaster got my money back ASAP ! How can they legally keep peoples money for a cancelled event! RIPOFF
They promised a full refund, but instead provided a store credit through email. They do not answer ANY calls for refunds, and I purchased the insurance that states it covers all cancellations with a full refund/credit. I will never get my money back, and the store credit has to be used soon, or it will be forfeited to the company. This makes no sense! I'm a first responder, and have too much to deal with instead of having someone tell me that I will never see my money again.
I paid my money in good faith, and even purchased the insurance (paying extra) for NOTHING. I will never pay for another ticket through them again! I pray no one ever uses this service! YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND; EVEN WITH THE INSURANCE ADDED! ALL WASTED! and calling is an additional waste of energy, causing more frustration.
Ticketsales.com Woke up to an email from this company telling me i purchased tickets from them. I immediately tried to contact them but could not get a real person on the phone. Got stuck in a computer loop that would not let me talk to anyone. Turns out i lost my wallet the night before, and someone went shopping on the internet with my credit cards. I tried repeatedly to contact this company to tell them this was not a purchase i made and could not get anyone on the phone. Tried emailing them and explained this was a fraudulent transaction and they replied two days later They are facilitating fraudulent Credit Card transactions on their web site ,ticketsales.com
