Royal Door Refinishing came out on January 2, 2020 to refinish my door. After paying, the workers came back the same day and said I would have to pay an additional fee since the door had been painted which they said their supervisor instructed them to do. I paid extra and even though I had tipped. Before the end of January 2020 the door began to show cracks, and I could see daylight shining through.
I contacted the company, and they sent someone out to repair cracks. Around April 2020, the door began to show more cracks. I contacted the company again and was asked to pay more money for a fee to come out. I explained I felt this was unfair since the work was not done properly, and I was charged extra initially. The company agreed to come out again but never showed. I called back again in June to inquire about someone stopping by to address the cracks.
Someone answered, but immediately hung up and never called back. I left messages including text messages with no response. At this point, I believe the company is avoiding me and has no intention of coming back to repair cracks in the door.
I should have scrolled down further on the reviews of this company as I noticed afterwards that other customers have had similar experiences with this company. After filing a Better Business Bureau complaint, Royal Door Refinishing chose not to respond, and instead deleted my review comment and all other negative review comments on their website.
