I read the previous person's report and realized that RMG maintains a level of poor service throughout the years. She does not return calls, pretends she never received calls (so how could she respond) property repairs were only as legally required and nothing more.
I know of 2 other people that rented from her after I did and no one got a deposit back. She does not do a walk thru when you rent from her or when you vacate.
Check around the internet there are others who share our bad experiences
The rude, arrogant attitude has no place in a business that deals with people.
They mismanaged my fourplex. They have tried to bill me incorrect services twice but thank goodness I caught it and they refunded me. I agreed on an estimate to get a unit turned over and repaired due to a tenant that left and damaged the unit. RMG gave me an estimate which I agreed to go ahead and do what was needed. They keep billing me things that should have been done in the estimate they provided but most of the work on the estimate was never done so not only did I pay the estimate but i also have to pay for future repair work that should have been done already.
They were supposed to list everything that should be done to turn over the unit to make it rentable but all these things keep popping up that the owner wasn't aware of becuase he was never there!!!
Also they had an employee steal from them which also stole rents. The rental deposit that was made on my unit is not showing when it should be. So now I am out the rental deposit when RMG should have handled that.
They decided to go ahead and clean out two units without my approval and charged me around $400 for one unit and around $200 for another unit.
They claim the tenants stole the carpet in one unit but the locks were rekeyed and the current tenants say the PM was aware that the carpets were gone and they will replace them which i confirmed with the receptionist at the time. The receptionist is the one that stole he money. In the walk through to make the unit rentable the carpets were there and the PM said they can shampoo them, but now the carpets are missing and they want me to pay to replace them.
They put in a work order on my owners portal but denied the request themselves so I would not see it and did unapproved repairs and then sent me the bill. If a work order is not approved they should not have done it anyway unless it was an emergency.
This company will nickle and dime you so please use another property manager company. They mismanage, and had no idea the employee was stealing from them until I said something. It also shows that the property manager is not aware of the day to day operations and let the receptionist do what they want and steal from the landlords.
