When you call to reach out to a manager or a sipervisor they send you to a voice mail where no one calls you back. The representatives state that they do not give you any refunds. I know for a fact there are marriages that sould be listed. There is atleast one divorce. Also they have no birth records. How can you make people pay for zero information provided? Also they have the nerve to ask the consumer to validate information about the persn you are looking for. Its a bogus site and quickly charges for ongoing charges on your account if you are not careful. Bogus. You can find more information at your county courthouse for free.
Sept 2015 I applied for .99cent special for thirty days. But the reverse phone check was useless so I canceled withen 24 hours. Well I checked my creditcard statement jan.2016 and noticed they were charging me from sept. to jan. $24.95 when I called to complain Emily was rude and refused to let me speak to her supervisor! Stay far away from them. There are other ethical sites that don't scam you like People finders!
I just discovered a couple of days ago, after looking at my credit card for some other unauthorized charges that People Finder/PeopleSmart has been charging my credit card for recurring $24.95 and $19.95 charges for I have no idea what services! I did not knowlingly subscribe to any service.
The only time I used this service was to find my aunt's phone number in Washington state on 4/29/2014 (PeopleSmart) when I was knowlingly charged 0.95. I never received any billing statement or explanation of charges, and was totally unaware of these charges until August 2015, a few days ago. I have taken the matter to my bank which will hopefully recover some of the unauthorized charges, but this goes back months.
I cannot find a phone number anywhere for either Peoplefinder or PeopleSmart and the contact form I tried to fill out is a fake!
This company is a rip-off and will steal your money! Beware!
