I was on face book and saw an add coming from Costo, it say Costco's pharmacy wear house has a lot of stuff to give away, eye cream and face cream free, just pay shipping and handling , and i checked for terms and conditions and they were non, so i figured it's a ligit, so i took the offer , and paid the shipping of $4.99 and $6.99, and a few days later i got the creams. About a 10 days later they send me an email telling that my order is ready and i ow them $135.00 twice for the 2 cream, so i called my credit card company to ask about any charge on my account and the lady told , yes 2 charges of $ 135.00. and i told her the story and she said that there is nothing she can do about it, and she told gave me the company name they go under, [ acc your goals ] ,then i notified all my friends on face book to be careful, because it's a scam, i even notified face book about the scam, a couple of days latter face book removed the add. I am an older lady and on a tight budget. Thank you
I thought i was getting a free trial of 2 skin care products for 5.99 and 4.99. After they arrived i noticed 143.46 and 144.00 was charged to my visa. I called the bank and cancelled my card then she told me to contact the company to cancelled. Of course it was some chinese women saying that terms and conditions which were not there said that i signed up for more every month. She was totally stupid and rude not helpful at all just a robot saying the same shit over and over. Told her the company is ripping off their customers and i am going to call the rcmp
Those people who fraud customers out of their hard earned money should be made to repay and go to fricken jail
I bought hydrolux eye cream from a site claiming that it was free, and all I had to pay was $5.99 shipping and handling.3 days after I received the product there was a charge at 3:00 am on my credit card for $92.23! I called my banks fraud dept, who said that I should try calling them to cancel first, before they make the claim report. It took me several tries, several days, to get ahold of anybody. Finally when I spoke to a woman, she tried telling me that I signed up for a trail period, and if I didn't call them within 14 days of trying the product, that they would charge full price. So I laughed, and told them that it never said that anywhere,I saved the website, and reviewed it..it wasn't there, but even if it was, they only gave me 3 days before they charged me! But this is where it gets crazy! When I finally convinced her that I wanted to stop all shipments,( cuz apparently buying that one bottle signed me up for infinatealluringbeauty shipments and charges) she babbled on for a long time very quickly so maybe I wouldn't understand what she was saying, but apparently canceling with her today may 10th, meant that they will halt all shipments until June 22, at which time they will begin shipping and billing again! I repeatedly told her,no I don't want any more shipments,EVER. She would repeatedly say the same response, that I will end up really liking the cream, and wanting more,so I will get more in June! I just had to hang up,and file the claim with my bank, and my bank made note not to allow anymore charges from those people! My bank also told me that a day after they charged the $92.23 they tried to charge another $85.00!!! This company is relentless and crazy, and if u buy from them at all,you will end up needing to cancel your credit card to stop them from trying to take ur money constantly!
Purchased Hydrolux thru the $5.99 free trial. Three weeks later I was charged $92.00 plus for the free trial and they did a auto refill that was not authorized by me. I have tried finding a customer service internet link or phone number to contact them regarding this unauthorized auto refill and can't find one. I was just notified that my credit card was compromised after another $92.00 plus charge from Hydrolux was put against my card. Card is cancelled so maybe that is one way it will stop the auto refill.
Hydrolux ,wellness health, I was on Facebook and saw an ad for Hydrolux for $5.99, add eye cream for only $4.99. Nothing about them charging me again, just straight price. Less than 10 days later, a charge of $92.23 was on my account, my credit account was compromised ........I got a email notification at 2 am .....hurried and called my credit card to report fradulent charge before it went through.....never will buy anything from Facebook again
I too got sucked in by a Facebook ad. I was undergoing chemo so didn't check them out (big mistake). No where did it say you were signing up for a monthly auto ship of product or that you only had 14 days to cancel after receiving your free sample. I did email them to cancel and threatened to call the police after I got the first shipping notice and they replied that they cancelled future orders and they offered me half my money back and I could keep the second product shipped. But I cancelled my credit card and am disputing the charges but I don't expect to get my money back as Visa is never very helpful to its cardholders.
I contact the 1800- number forHydro Lux to rely my desire not to be sent anymore samples. The only thing I can find is this name on my bank statement. There is no specific contact perosn to cancel the order. I was given the run-around. The person I contacted stated that she could not find an account with my name and information. She asked for a credit card number so that she could look up the information. So I asked why do you need a credit card number if you can't find an account in my name? There is no return number; contact information; or person of contact. The person I talked to was a telephone telemonitor. She would not give any additional contact information. The young lady simple stated she could not help me and that the account is not available for review.
So, I have had a monthly delivery of facial cream that I cannot use. I am being debited each month for $93 dollars from my checking account.
Buyers' beware!!! This company is making money by charging for a product. Even though I have contacted the only phone number available to call to stop the delivery. Once the debit started; it continues. I am going to return the product to the mail address on the box. I do not want the cream.
They advertised as Dragon's den approved, ordered free samples. Got them and the next night I was charged almost $300 dollars. Called credit card company and cancelled card. Got a new one with new number. The bank told me it is fraud and they would investigate for me. Called the 1-800 number on the product and she would not provide CEO name and nor would she provide address of headquarters. DO NOT order from these fraud artists.
After a survey they offer me a cream as a free reward for my time, and all I had to pay was $5.99 shipping. They took 400$ from my bank account for the cream. And an other transaction was made later of 110$.
In the process of order and payment, there is NO request to agree with Hydrolux "terms and conditions", and there is NO one place mentioning request for "terms and conditions" agreement. The only condition mentioned, but NOT obliged is: "14 days Trial, No Commitments - 30 Day Supply" on the Final Step page:
I was given an address to return my "free sample" and given half my money back!! BIG Ripoff. Here is the address: PO Box 77570 592 Shepherd Ave W. Downsview, Ont. M3H 2W0. But here is the kicker - you have to quote an RMA number on the parcel (which you can only get from a rep) and you have to call them with your tracking number from the post office before they will refund half. The number I called is 1-775-285-5782. If they truly were on Dragon's Den and got a deal with one of the Dragons, THAT Dragon should be ASHAMED!! NOT the way Canadians should operate.
HYROLUX GOING BY DIFFERENT FACE CREAM NAMES TO AVOID BEING OUTED AS A SCAM BY INTERNET USERS
THANK YOU everyone here for posting your stories! THANK YOU and because I googled this mess that has been set up by these Hyrolux or whatever folks before going ahead with my so-called "FREE ORDER," I was able to avoid this scam. THANK YOU!! In turn I want to add any additional information that might help anyone in the future AVOID this "business" AT ALL COST. Hopefully they will google this so-called free face cream offer due to overstocking at the pharmacy to realize the truth about the so-called free sample.
I had also been lured by a Facebook ad about "free samples" from the warehouse of Costco, another page said Shoppers Drug Mart, another said Safeway, so basically all common stores with pharmacies. It said all I had to pay was shipping and handling. Why can't I just go pick it up from my nearest Shoppers or Costco or Safeway? It did ask the preliminary question of how far I would travel to get there...
Now I got my first warning when my anti-virus software warned me somewhere along the way that the link was trying to take me to an "unsafe" website page. Then I looked at the name at the top of the website which now said "Hydrolux" -- huh? The original website told me I was getting a free sample of ALLSKIN EYE SERUM (NIGHT). Conveniently, the free sample promotion end date was purported to be today's date. Today is the last day of the promotion, so hurry through the next steps and don't even think to research at all. Phew. Here was the complete blurb written on the website with the website url address, http://beauty-giveaway.com/quiz_skin_glow_ca_result/
I saw an ad while on my facebook page stating that shopper's drug mart had an overstock of products and were giving away free samples. All you had to do was pay for the shipping and handleing which amounted to $5.99. Since I regularly shop at shopper's drug mart I decided to take advantage of this offer and assumed it was on behalf of shopper's drug mart and not a third party company. When I filled out the information to send my free trial there was nowhere on Hydrolux's home page that stated that if you did not call them back, which by the way there was no telephone number for this company either on their home page, within 14 days of paying for the shipping and handeling for this product that I would be charged full price on a monthly basis for thisproduct. It was only when I looked at my email messages in my junk folder that I discovered a message from customer support from the company Hydrolux that I was being charged full price for the product. The email message from them is dated 15 days after I had paid the shipping and handleing charge for this so-called free trial and since it was one day afterwards, I could not cancel the payment . There was however a telephone number in the email for the company so right away I called to cancel the payment. The woman whom I spoke to gave me her name as Angel Cruze and was no help at all, but continued to state that because I had not contacted the company within the 14 days I could not cancel the monthly subscription that apparently came with this free offer and as I've stated before, nowhere on their website does it state that you need to cancel within 14 days in order to not be charged for a monthly membership. Since there was no telephone number on their site as well, how is anyone suppose to contact this company within the 14 days to cancel a monthly membership in order to not get charged full price for a product that was said to be a free trial?
What is the phone number for Hydrolux Cream Support?
OK, I made the mistake of ordering this cream via the Dr. Oz article, a few days back. Had a funny feeling about it today and started researching. Finding this site and others which repeat the same is scary.
I have looked for a number to cancel the order but can not find one.
What is the phone number I can call to cancel the orders.
Had the same problem...trying to cancel what I thought was a free trial sample...such a rip off...have learnt lesson about ordering on line....just got off the phine with this girl at customer support Sheila Anderson ???? and she supposedly cancelled my order...but holding my breath...as next step is cancelling my credit card. Good Luck
I was on weather.com an ad popped up as i tried to close it i,t opened and started a video i was impressed with what i saw and ordered a "free sample" "just pay shipping and handling".. First month all i was charged was shipping and handling ...Second month i was charged nearly $400.00..When initially received product was repudiated at the ingredients. There was no bill of lading included. No contact information. The return address was incorrect. I couldn't find the original website i was on. Url produced a fatal error. The product is "misbranded" according to fda Look it up) the ftc has info regarding internet scams like this ''report it" write down the url and report it!!
