My husband got 15 minutes up the road and the transmission went out completely. We had to call someone with a trailer to come get us. We had a 19 month old with us that had to sit in the car and wait. When we got it on the trailer they took it to a local bike mechanic that said James Doss brought him the bike before he put it up for sale and it wasn't even running. He told him just to make it start and run. He new there were issues with the bike. My husband and I called him and left multiple voicemail and text messages. I even drove back there with the baby and asked h to make things right. He refused continuously. I told him I'd take him to court and file complaints but all he had to do was give us our money back.
James Doss willingly and knowingly sold us a defective motorcycle. He had it at a mechanic just to get it running because it wasn't running at all. After many unanswered calls and texts I drove over there and ask him to make things right. Either by refund or repair costs. He adimently refused. We only owned the motorcycle for 15 to 20 minutes before it quit running from bad transmission. He claims he's not a business but his name on title was Doss Rebuild. By the way his wife is the notary who does all the sales.
