On May 26, 2020, I attended an online webinar hosted by Mike Rando and Trevor Berke partners of "The Credit Game” which also goes by the name of Prosperity Training. I attended the webinar to see how I could increase sales in my own business as I was not interested in credit repair, credit restoration, purchasing tradelines, and much more that they promote in the personal credit and finances.
The webinar lasted about 2 hours and the program had a cost of $291.00 which was a bit steep for me, however after pleading with their audience that this information is so valuable and worth in excess of $10,000 and all they wanted was $291.00 I figured that was a deal.
I was not yet convinced but as the webinar continued Mike Rando made the package even sweeter buy offering a 3-pay installment plan at $97.00 per month starting May 26, 2020, and the balance to be paid each month thereafter. I figured this was too good to be true and something was not right about this Mike Rando and Trevor Berke made another offer, A Money-Back Guarantee! so I immediately followed their instructions, clicked on the button, and entered my credit card information in. I figured if it didn't work out for me I would get my money back.
Shortly after my payment was processed I received an email from The Credit Game that had detailed instructions on how to start the training. I opened the online material which consisted of several modules and videos that seemed endless. I knew I had to give this a chance, so I spent the entire evening reading material and watching videos, learning how important email marketing is to create tons of money. While watching this video I noticed everything had to do with personal credit and how I could help myself and others by selling a program they created by email marketing.
Several days had passed and I knew this program was not for me. This was not was I expecting and phoned the company requesting my money back. When I called there off and spoke with a representative I was told you need to email your refund request to [email protected] which I did on June 17, 2020, and received an automatic email response that their office hours are M-F 8-6 est. The following day I received an email that I would not be receiving a refund because I attended their online Mastermind webinar which I had absolutely no interest investing any more time with this company and was convinced I had been scammed and never should have attended the original webinar.
I continued my emails with no response and at this point did all I could to contact either partner Mike Rando or Trevor Berke and I was fortunate to locate Trevor Berke on LinkedIn and sent him a message about my refund. No more than 2 minutes after the message was received I received a response that was personalized to me thanking me for reaching out to him, how he had a long weekend and would get back to me on Monday, June 29, 2020.
I could tell the message was sincere and apologetic and he would do all he could to make sure I received the best service possible. The message also sated have I watched the Mastermind videos numbers 9 or 10 as they were time-sensitive. I really felt like Trevor was going to step up to the plate and honor his Money-Back Guarantee and I would hear from him shortly., Trevor even gave me his cell number to text him, this was great I was going to get my money back! Sadly, I never heard from Trevor. I texted him with no response and even phoned him just to hear that his voice mailbox was full. It was at this time I realized the message to me was a pre-written well-done automatic response that was crafted so well, it would answer any type of question.
What is sad about my issue not being resolved with this company but the fact these guys continue to post videos on YouTube about "Getting in the Game” seats are very limited and now would be the best time to join and find out how you can make a ton of money in a down economy. I often wonder how many others requested a refund and never received it?
They guaranteed I would be able to get a checking account with Navy Federal credit union. I paid $500 so they can get me in. Their codes for navy fed didn't work. I doubt any of their services work. It's all a scam. They refuse to refund my $500.
