I get 5 phone calls a day from this company when auditions are in the area. They want you to press one to sign up for an audition. Well I finally tried it and asked to be removed from the calling list. The lady said I'd have to call the company that called me, CG TV, in the morning. She said CG TV forwards the calls to her. She wouldn't even give the name of her organization or her name or her manager's name. She screamed, "I'm not giving you any information!" I feel like her organization is the one that called. Maybe she is using CG TV falsely. The callback number on my phone led me to her again and she hung up on me. I still don't know how to stop them from calling me or who they are! But I finally blocked that number on my phone.
Yes they tell you what it is but still feels like a scam
They went to Red Deer, AB and advertise that it’s an audition to be a part of Disney. But what it actually is a company that would try to get you to pay for acting workshops that costs max of 5,600 to 1500 cad minimum Plus 15 percent in service fees.
It’s a scam because their ad should just say what it is. No gimmicks.
Don’t bother to come coz actually there’s no audition.
I felt so bad for those kids who were really bright eyed and hopeful they were gonna get picked.
Yes they tell you what the workshops cost but everything just felt rushed. How rushed? When you get chosen, that afternoon, you pay up the next day.
The psychology they use is just sick.
We got the call that our kid was picked, but in the middle of the conversation I had this bad feeling like I needed to escape a hustler making a really bad deal.
No damage done for my kid, but really sad for those other kids there.
A few people even had to bring their entire family, really small babies included!
Don’t let these people mess up your children’s minds and emotions! There was 1 family who even drove all the way from Saskatchewan!!
I hope someone puts a stop to this someday. I can’t believe these people have the soul to even do this as a living!
